Centralized Onboarding and Service Monitoring System

Industry

BFSI

Challenges

Build a centralized system for onboarding organizations and user, consume data from current applications

Solution

  • Architecture overhaul of legacy system in line with business reality of the present
  • Centralized platform for onboarding across any application

Business Background

Pre and Post Trade processing requires multiple connections working together to ensure a seamless flow of trade information between trading partners, which at times may go down and impact the trade. Applications were developed by different teams and entities going through various mergers and acquisitions over the last 20 years in silos with limited to no interoperability across applications. For end users it is imperative to know the status of all their connections across applications as it has huge financial and regulatory repurcussions

Problem Statement

Build a centralized system for onboarding organizations and user, consume data from current applications where all the connections sit and provide a centralized view of all their connections and their current status with additional capabilities of generating automated alerts and notifications to the end user and internal teams

Tech Stack

Spring, Java, React JS, Redis, PostgreSQL, Apache Camel, Kafka, Kubernetes, AWS

Solution

  • Architecture overhaul of legacy system in line with business reality of the present
  • Centralized platform for onboarding across any application
  • Migration and transformation of current user base into the central application to remove existing redundancies
  • Business Services Monitoring

  • Configurable alert system to generate alerts
  • Notification system giving flexibility to the user to define when and where to receive the notifications/alerts

NFRs

  • Supports 100 TPS
  • Auditability
  • Security
  • Alerting Latency of 5 seconds
